Red Bull s Train Like a Champ challenge to give Singaporeans a chance to compete in Japan
SINGAPORE – Singaporeans will now have an opportunity to test their limits and represent the nation on the global stage, thanks to Red Bull’s latest initiative, its “Train Like a Champ” challenge.
The challenge, which runs till March 11, is open to individuals of all fitness levels who aim to make physical activity a fun and consistent part of everyday life.
Interested participants can join the challenge via the Strava app and log at least 12 active days per month.
They can take part in any form of exercise, such as cycling, yoga and swimming.
The top performing participants will get the chance to compete at the Red Bull 400 – a 400m uphill sprint that pushes endurance with a max incline angle of 37deg – in Sapporo, Japan.
Backed by Singapore’s three-time skydiving champion Kyra Poh, the challenge is designed to “motivate Singaporeans to stay active and showcase their fitness”.
The 22-year-old said: “(It is a) fun game-changer for Singaporeans looking to elevate their fitness journey and be part of the Red Bull community.”
Encouraging Singaporeans to take on the challenge, Poh added: “Just go for it! This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and get healthier in 2025.
“The goal is to inspire others (by showing them) that people can push past their own limits, create a consistent routine, and find the ‘champion’ in themselves.”
